NETFLIX + REDDIT & DAVID FINCHER
The brief was to create a unique way to unveil David Fincher’s newest film “Mank” - an epic story about the creation of “Citizen Kane.”
So we created a “live” event on RPAN (Reddit’s live video platform).
It’s a 34-minute hypnotically slow film that takes the viewer on a tour of a room filled with 14 easter eggs and clues that only a true Fincher fan would recognize, and culminating with a projectionist prepping an antique projector to play the teaser.
It was incredibly fun to watch users react in the moment and solve the riddle clue by clue.
